London Hotels
It's been said that wherever you stay in Central London, you're about a half hour away from your destination! That being the case, your tube (London Underground) stop is Waterloo, or Embankment if you fancy a stroll across the bridge and a view of Parliament or Big Ben. IBM South Bank is located just south of the Thames river, a couple blocks from the London Eye. If you're interested in staying close to the venue, we recommend the South Bank London website as a place to start your hotel search.
Getting Around
The London Underground is the most convenient and economic way to get around London. Waterloo is located on the Bakerloo, Jubilee and Northern lines, however you're never more than a couple stops or switches away when staying in central London. For maps, rates, and current information on the London Underground, visit the official website. For transportation from Heathrow, we recommend using Heathrow Express, which brings you from the airport to Paddington Station. From there you can reach anywhere on the tube.
