There are numerous hotels in Chicago within walking distance of the IBM Innovation Center. Your confirmation email will list several, or you can use the address above to search your favorite travel website. Getting Around
Chicago is filled with taxicabs, which are the easiest and fastest way to get from your hotel to the IBM Innovation Center if you are staying out of walking distance. However, there is also the Chicago Transit Authority's elevated train system, which has numerous stops including two - Washington and Quincy - just a few blocks away. So if you do find a hotel deal, or stay further away, be sure to check out the affordable and simple-to-use public transportation at the Chicago Transit Authority website. It's been said that wherever you stay in Central London, you're about a half hour away from your destination! That being the case, your tube (London Underground) stop is Waterloo, or Embankment if you fancy a stroll across the bridge and a view of Parliament or Big Ben. IBM South Bank is located just south of the Thames river, a couple blocks from the London Eye. If you're interested in staying close to the venue, we recommend the South Bank London website as a place to start your hotel search.
